(Has realized that it's been too long since her last journal post. Time to change that.)

First Concert

Last night I went to my first concert ever. It was at Sauget, IL at a bar called Pop's and it's in between two strip clubs, lol. My boyfriend got two tickets free from the Pop's club and so we went last minute. The concert was sponsored by 105.7 The Point. We showed up a little late, but we didn't miss the first band. The main band was Saving Abel, but there were also four opening bands. The first to play was Fer de Lance and we only heard two of their songs because we showed up late as I already stated. The second to play was Taddy Porter which sounded a lot like Jimmy Hendrix. After them was Pop Evil. They were pure amazing and they attained quite a few new fans that night. After them, the last band to play was RED. RED is a rock Christian band apparently, which utterly surprised me because you couldn't even tell. Their stage showmanship was great and they were awesome.

Unfortunately I had to leave early, which pissed me off, but it wasn't my fault or my boyfriends so we just tried to forget that fact. We only got to see approximately 30 minutes of Saving Abel. My boyfriend bought my a Saving Abel girl's tee and their first CD (Which I am currently jamming to). :3

When anyone get's the chance look up those four bands, and even Saving Abel. Mainly Pop Evil. I've fallen in love with Pop Evil. They played a tribute to Pantera and it was just purely AWESOME!

I got to see my first mosh pit, well an attempt at it. Pop's was very strict on stuff like that so it was broken up quickly....AFTER one of the smaller security guards was accidentally dragged into and shoved around as well. Also one guy crowd surfed twice, but was stopped the second time. xD I love concerts now.

Halloween ROCKED!!

I dressed up as a zombie Hunter from the video game from Valve called Left 4 Dead. My bestie dressed up as Edward Elric. And here are a few pictures:
